Hey guys

Found out about this CPU. It seems very very good. I'm posting here to ask the PR community if it will run BF2 R on max and ArmA2 R On high and up, and what should I upgrade. I'm thinking upgrade the power supply, graphics card, and get a new cooling system so I can overclock to 4.0Ghz.

Well, the GPU is integrated, and it's pretty weak, so yeah, I'd suggest you get a dedicated GPU, better PSU for sure, preferably a branded one, Corsair, PC Power and Cooling, Seasonic, etc. and I don't believe you can OC on OEM PCs since most manufacturers lock down their BIOS.

I love how they don't even bother to mention the RAMs' clock rates. From what I can say those pre-built PC are usually not gamer PCs. Although this might run PR:BF2 on pretty high settings I doubt it will run PR:ARMA2 smothely as you desire.
A major factor alot of people forget to mention when asking "can I run xx on all high?", is at at which resolution they will want to run the game. If you want to run PR on 800x600 on all high. Hell yeah that should work. If you have a TFT or LCD monitor you will want to run it at its native resolution since this will give the clearest image so that resolution is your target resolution.

So you are in a good position actually, on this forum we could help you pick out parts within a budget...

Custom built computers basically always will have more performance to the dollar.

+1, after I built my first one, I'm never going back to pre-built.

To make a long story short:
Avoid OEM PC's at all costs,get the parts and do it yourself - it's a lot easier then most
people think.Not to mention the price/performance ratio.
