Are there going to be more map's involving the IDF? I'v only seen one so far, It's very interesting partly because I'm in Israel right now and I see the solders carrying around those new guns you see in the game.

currently 3 IDF maps in game (if i remember right):

Asad
Gaza
beruit

And tho no new maps have been shown with IDF, assume there will be. and by new gun i assume you mean 'TAR-21' ?

Yes im sure there will be more maps than currently but it is reliant on mappers being willing to create them for the IDF. The current list is Gaza Beach, Beirut and Asad Khal.

Do those maps have SP support?

If you have modding skill, come help make Iranian faction and you will have more IDF maps.

It would be cool to help but I don't have modding skill , do you think that eventually they will make all the maps SP? or will they leave some out?

Not all maps will be SP from what I've seen in SP packages. But why play SP. MP is where the fun is at.

Back in the old days we used to share stuff on CD's or floppy disks. One person would spend days downloading it, and then physically distribute it to others, to save them from having to download gigabytes of data at dial-up speeds.

I could see this happening in Israel with PR 0.9, since it includes single player and the IDF.

Why spend time catering to a minority of people? There are better ways to spend resources.

It takes a lot of time to make the map into a SP map. They will eventually be in SP just give it some time.

GAZA needs an overhaul .... SO SOON yes .... it looks like a Vanilla BF2 map ... the city isnt laid out like a city at alll :S ... its a bit flawed lolol im sure that it can be fixed to be more open ?? .... and yes lay it out like GAZA is actualy layed out ... not to fit .. a slum / city / desert/ ocean / ... make it flow better

A bit off-topic but: Catering a minority is not a problem if you also cater the majority. You know, both will be happy, not only one. Also, remember that we with a good internet connection is a minority, why cater us?
