this suggestion goes hand and hand with a suggestion about walking speeds with squad leader radio.

When you are walking normaly and then you choose to aim your weapon at something your speed is greatly reduced... YES
Ontop of the lower speed the Aiming cone is at its fullest mostlikley since you are still moving.
In real life if you were walking as slow as you are in the Game while holding your weapon you would think that your acuracy would be normal Such as
EX: Shoot houses : for a period of time you are walking with your weapons sights to your face so you can react quickly to any threats. your acuracy IS lower because you are moving but not as low as you to shoot in one direction and your bullet goes off on a Random tangent 45 Degrees left or right.
Suggestion:
1 have a faster walking pace while gun sights up to match the amout of acuracy loss ( AS IS ) no changes to accuracy while walking .
OR
2 Increase the aimed walking accuracy due do the slow speed of movment already in game.
OR
3 Try to Tweak the settings so that its somwhere in the middle. More accuracy and a tad bit faster paced walking.
this wont be a big change just somthing to use when you are in tight spots in a building or around corners Etc
( KEEP RPG, LAT, HAT SETTINGS THE SAME IF POSSIBLE )

If you crouch whistle aimed in you move faster than if you are standing and scoped in.

theres nothing in the game to cause this, are you pressing too many buttons at once or something?

Indeed if you actually take a second look at it you'll find that moving scoped+crouched is quite fast
and you'll find that in a CQB situation (which is really the only place you would be doing this) your accuracy in 0.9 is more than sufficient to kill your target. People complain about accuracy being poor in CQB when they don't sight in but I can't understand that, sight in and you will be a fast, small target and still very accurate.
This is a non-suggestion for me for that reason as what you are basically looking for is already in-game, you just need to learn to use it correctly.

This is probably attributable to lag or something on your system not keeping up. Certainly not the fault of the game.

well it would be nice for scope rifles to receive the speed boost as well, its bad enough to do CQB while looking down a toilet tube but scope rifles go a snails pace while they do it

Lol, true dat but I would say that brings balance and is therefore a necessary evil. Think about it in reality too you can't look down a scope whilst moving quickly in a crouch position (I challenge anyone to do that and manage to stay locked into the scope). In an ideal world we would have two positions for scoped weapons, one looking down the barrel for CQB and another for looking down the scope but I can't see that happening.
Besides the 3d scope changes will make it much easier to do CQB with scopes.

EDIT, I'm sorry I've gone OT, keep to the thread's subject lads.

Indeed Rudd, we have deviated from the OP.
The thing is, that with the curent tunel vision for scoped, moving faster comes with ALOT! of sway, as scoped rifles act different from iron sighted/red dot weapons when moving. But this may not be a problem when the 3D scope models will be realesed.

Wouldn't you just be able to crouch around a corner or crouch over a mountain and get headshots? It makes more sense that you'll have lots of accuracy while staying still, but moving accuracy at long range should be kept low.
