Is it possible to have silent eagle in a 32 Layer mode with :
3 Havok atack helos Vs 3 Apache atack helos. ?
and so on
Kind of like kashan , how it has 32 layer for choppers and 64 layer for jets.
what i mean is, A second vehicle layout (32), with all the same ground vehicles as in 64 game mode, Just switching the air assets. To make CAS more useful.

And so on what?
Do you want those to be the only vehicles? If so that is a very poor suggestion. If not then you have phrased your suggestion incorrectly or it is incomplete. Sit down and have a think about it then come back
I also disagree with having the same layout as Kahan, seeing as variety = awesome.

Maybe you should sit down and have a think. In his post he says:
3 Havok atack helos Vs 3 Apache atack helos. ?
and so on
which someone who tends to think beyond just the text they read should assume he also mean other vehicles besides helicopters. I will say it is vague for what he suggests besides helicopters. I would think he implied the vehicle layout for 64 without jets maybe. You feel the need to talk down to people on the forums for saying "and so on'?
Back on topic, I believe that 3 ATK helos may be 1 too many, considering that no other maps spawn 3 ATK helos at the same time.

Have you ever tried the Havok on SE?
It's ridiculously FUBARed, the Gunner's max optimal engagement distance seems to be along the lines of 400-500 meters due to bad camera greying, ground/vegetation/vehicle textures, and fog while it can still be engaged by ANYTHING (most deadly being the HAT, TOW, or wire guided silent missile) from up to 1000m.

He needs to be clearer in what he is suggesting, as I stated in my post. Merely an attempt to push the OP into revealing more of his grand plan to revolutionise Silent Eagle. Simply coming onto the forums and saying I think there should be three Apaches and three Havoks on the field is not sufficient and means nothing, if you actually understand balance and game set up for a map that gives an enjoyable user experience you will realise that the asset layout is a lot more than just shoving a couple helis down, it is a lot more detailed than that.
Simply encouraging the OP, not talking down. Hence the smiley

Just so everyone and myself is clear..
All the vehicles, but instead of jets, each team gets 3 havocs for Russia and 3 apaches for US?
I wouldn't see the harm in that, maybe if there's too many layers it may not work, but it sounds interesting enough.
Also, I'm sick and tired of people complaining about HAT/TOW/VehicleTow vs Helis. Don't hover. Use a havoc like a jet or an attack huey. Swerve when you fly away, pop flares as well.
If you hover, you are risking death.

Well first the attack choppers should get better optics because it wouldn't really matter if there are more attack choppers on that map, they couldn't be effective anyway because of the optics.

It should only really be going down when it is doing random hydra runs. The good pilots always wait until there is a contact call/lase or the commander has a confirmed target in his sights. The TOW is deadly but it is quite easy to dodge at range if the Havok moves as much as possible at about 5km/h.
I for one, support this idea as I could imagine that the US Army would be using large amounts of air support for the airborne infantry units. At the moment the jets are quite silly due to the airfields and the view distances, the Apache is a tank killer so it would only make sense to have it in for that purpose, but one can imagine that the armor would have a bit of a hard time moving around with so many threats.

One of the reasons Silent Eagle 64 is currently my favorite map is also the reason I used to play Qwai.
Asymmetrical Balance.
They are deliberately not equal in force distribution as this makes for a more entertaining matchup.
Don't rush to make every faction have equal assets on every map, this is boring. (And you know right now that anyone flying the A10 has at least a moderate piloting ability to even get the thing off the ground, that's always a plus)

I guess the idea of the scenario is that a long range attack group engages in enemy teritorry, with the the marines chuting in, so I guess CAS would be done by jets with Apaches not having the range or speed. But then again the US gets Tanks...

How about an alternate gameplay layer where all assets are the same as usual, but the US gets an Apache instead of an A-10, and the Russians get a Frogfoot instead of a Havoc.
Could be fun.

Support this, SE already combines infantry, armor and air combat and that would just add more flavour.
