Xfire is the program I used to record videos. You can either stream and host them on the xfire website or you can edit by yourself with a program (like windows movie maker, adobe pro, sony vegas,...) and put them on youtube.

Quality is ok but fraps is better (hence it is pay to play :) )

It just shows the round from a 3p perspective. Can fly though it etc.

For the BR file you need to download it from the server to be able to view it. Some servers have them publicly available, some don't, some don't have BR at all.

You can also render a video with it if you record a flight pass.

I think he wants to be able to use the battle recorder to make movies. The camera view in which you can move about freely. I tried but failed. I have Vegas Platinum but I guess I need to buy fraps.

The Sir. Community™ - BattleDirector
Software program made by sir.comunity

I can show you guys sometching interesting. This isn't recordingin in real time, like for example fraps. So evryone, doesn't metter how strong is your PC can record film on high settings. Ofcourse you can use it only in BR.

"BattleDirector is an application for Battlefield movie directors. It streamlines the moviemaking process by allowing filmmakers to go from BFR to AVI in simple steps. The simple GUI provides all the tools you need with one-click access. The Sir. Community utilizes BattleDirector for all its professional-quality productions."

You should be careful with fraps though. It is a known problem that it may cause Pr to crash. Obviously not everybody has trouble with it but I cannot use it anymore.
