[WIN 7] need sound driver [solved]

Hey guys,
I hope you can help me out.
I've installed win 7 today and everything's fine so far, ecxept the sound doesn't work.
I've been looking around for hours now but i can't find the necessary driver for my onboard sound. Stupid windows keeps telling me everything's up to date, but it's obviously not!
Mainboard is an ASUS M2N-E, onboard sound.
Everything else works fine, out of the box so to speak, it's just the sound..
Could it be that this ancient piece of onboard **** isn't supported by win7 (yet)?

€: I've tried driver detecting software, they all tell me i have to update but i can't d/l the driver through those programs as they want money for it.
