April 1st is fast approaching!

In previous years, the devs have kept upping the ante

A while ago, they banned all the devs for the april fools joke,
the next year, they shut down the site and had very realistic documents showing that the Ministry of Defence had shut them down: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f11-of ... post643853
then, the next year, they made a whole map, a tricked hundreds of people into downloading it and playing it! https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f380-p ... -beta.html

How the hell are they going to top themselves this time? More then a whole new map - what are they gonna do?

What do you guys think? Any ideas or guesses?

Unfortunatley it doesnt look like there will be anything special this year. Usually they post 3-4 days in advance. I can't blame em though. They work day and night for .91

I bet they are releasing .91.

A lot of people will download it and get an error XD

On April 2nd they are just going to update the link so it works correctly

The sad thing about last year's joke is, Sangin had been in development for a long time, and now it is one year later and we still don't know much more about it.

DrRank has released a couple of blogs since then

I think they will make bomb vests.

And only allow them for 5 minutes, but the download of the file is 1 TB

.91 is released, but nobody actually downloads it because they think it's a hoax. Devs lol.

Those weren't April Fools Day jokes, they were real.

The moderators banned the devs for being too uppity, Rhino had to do his finest impression of royal naval seamen to get the MOD to lift their restrictions, and the map was just really badly bugged - Taxi's fault, he was drunk on sake when he finished it up.

It's pure coincidence that all this drama happens around the end of March, really. Any more talk of hoaxes and jokes will not be looked upon kindly!

maybe the lack of one is the joke, everyone's getting all worked up over what might be a hoax and as it turns out all is well.
