Give the M1A2 TUSK CROWS M2

This has probably been beaten to death already, but if it hasn't, I guess this will be a new one.
How about giving the M1A2 TUSK's 50 gunner a CROWS station instead of the "pop your head out be easy sniper target" variant? It would let the driver scout the area when he's trying to stay stealth with sound, and also take care of infantry getting too close, without, once again, having the person shot out.

Would make the Abrams very hard to kill. This has been suggested before too.
Buuuuuut you do raise a good point, if the Abrams' on Karbala and Kashan have armor tiles present in the TUSK kit, they should also have the remote weapons upgrade.

Not really, tanks are still easily shot up by the random TOW or the other enemy tank/jet/helicopter with TOWs.

Only few modern tanks fire tows, and jets and helis don't have TOW's either.
I say yes, the .50 cal is rarely used and only lasts a little while as the gunner gets shot out so easily.
I'd like to modify the original idea, and change it so its like this:
Seat 1: Driver, same as right now
Seat 2: Gunner, Same as right now
Seat 3: Instead of .50 cal open-hatch gun, have the CROWS system in place of that, where the gunner sits inside like the Crow humvee.

I'd like crows and RWS systems for tanks, gives the driver someplace safe to go when he wants to turn the engine off
