The only real possible way to put Blood in PR would be to replace the "sand" thing on VBF2 and color it red. Other than that, no real possible way than what PR already has.

This has been brought up a million times already,

PR used to have blood splatter effects, but they were removed. The reason was that its not realistic. In real life when you are shot you dont blow up like a balloon filled with blood. Especially when you are wearing body armor. These arent my words, this is what the devs have said about removing blood effects. Its more hollywood then real life when your blood shoots out.

Not to mention the "dust shots" would be red blood splatters, which would make you think you hit the guy when you didn't.

Well to be fair those dust shots make me think I hit them too.

tbh with military uniforms i doubt ud see much unless a limb got blown off. Id guess it probably soaks into the uniform.

Well FH2 has good blood splatter effects, not too much blood and if you shoot the ground it is still sand and/or dust but I like PR as it is

IIRC there was a 5 page thread about this and it came to the conclusion that cocaine puffs are more realistic than blood (though i admit it was kinda retarded and amusing seeing blood splattering when getting riddled by a HMG/LMG)

While entirely illogical for any puff of blood to be coming from armour-padded suits, IIRC it's possible to have the blood spatter effect only come from hitting certain parts of the body, say limbs and head or head alone.

BUt who really cares if its blood or not it becomes like peeing in the ocean you add nothing.

Well TBH since there's no "hit" animation I can see some reasons why it'd be good. IE, if you get shot in the leg you'd fall down pretty quickly, something you can for instance see in Arma but not BF2, so it would simply act as a visual indicator. As to it's 'realism' that's entirely up to the preconceived beliefs of the user, whether it's a simulation of the visual evidence shown from a 'good' hit or whether it's an unnecessary, cliche visual are entirely in the eye of the beholder.

dust clouds = calculated client side = no real hit indicator = people complaining about cheaters because they saw them bleeding on there screen

Yes it is. Soldiers throw themselves flat on the ground, crouch and press themselves in every cover they can find. What do you think is happening with the uniform and equipment? If it's no wet day, they'll get caked in dust and mud. What happens if you slap dusty clothes?
