Why?

I got PR v0.9 and installed it. I start it, black screen for a while, then it shows BF2 mouse then it suddenly it goes back to the desktop and nothing happens. What should I do?

Download the 1.4 patch and the 1.5 patch and reinstall them. I bought a new copy of BF2 and it said it was fully updated, but gave me the same problem. I downloaded and installed 1.4 and 1.5 again and it works just fine.

did re-patching really help?
i had what sounds like the exact similar problem, what i did was
i updated my graphic card/drivers
