Well... I guess title already flashes what I'm suggesting. May sound silly but it may have its times.

Cons are: if it is implemented eventually people will start shooting every death they see in case but who knows

I like it.

You mean you suggesting that players should be able to play dead? lol How does that make any sense whatsoever? You tell me and in a combat zone you would actually drop your gun and play dead? I think this will come right after fast ropes

It might be possible to do that by selecting the empty kit and then going prone - one could make the animation look dead-ish then. However, everyone will notice that your equipment didn't disappear and that you are not a ragdoll. Also, the hands-over-the-head animation for unarmed prone position we have is better than this

actually it worked pretty well in "Enemy at the gates" of course I know its not the most brilliant suggestion and not worth it if its gonna bring much burden but at the end of the day its something possible irl for who-knows-when desperate times

ah, don't be so negative about it . I'm pretty sure this is an ***, but It's not that bad of an idea. Consider that we already allow players to "surrender" .... so we already have people dropping weapons in the combat zone

playing dead ain't so far off

lol I wasn't trying to be negative, I really don't think it would do much good for the gameplay as a whole. Like surrender what good does it really do, besides a sq of civis running around with their hads up and getting "arrested" with a shotgun lol

Drop kit and act dead. I've evaded tanks two meters in front of me and sure death for a hundred times by doing that. Too epic.
