Just a thought if anyone wants to update the Canadian LAV-III

I still haven't been near a LAV-3 in game yet, so I can't say if the other things would do any good, but they look nice

So from what I gathered the things that have been added to the LAVIII with the LORIT package are:

• Hesco barrier mesh stowage bins
• Steel stowage bins
• New seats for the crew
• A shield for the commanders machine gun
• Increased armor for the passengers

For practicalities sake the only thing that would be applicable in PR is the increased armor. At the moment the LAV series vehicles don't have the commanders MG's up top. And the armor doesn't need editing of the vehicle according to those pictures.

Seems like the storage bins are not only for storage, but also work as cage/slat type armor for the rear compartment. I know the slats on other vehicles are buggy, but if they get them working it would be nice to see this addition to the LAV3.

Casr.ca is the Department of defence so it isn't actually used yet, the lav-3s are being upgraded right now to lorits.

i've seen enough LAV's in Pet that came back for repairs done up in LORIT standards

my unit receive them in a couple of week, that and the LAV3 RWS, will take picture as they arrive LORIT are also in Afghanistan since a while.

i thought the ppcli's were the only ones with the RWS, i havent seen any at 1 or 3 RCR
