Thanks to all who applied, only one person was turned away, and I have placed two people in a more commanding role based on applications. Please know that no position is final, nothing is written in stone.

However, due to the lack of video editing applications, and the general underestimation of applications, I AM LEAVING APLICATIONS OPEN for the time being. I beleive that we will more than likely receive more applications after our first release.

hmm in my opinion you need a bit more substance before you ask everyone else to pile in, if you've got the barebones of a story it wouldn't hurt to post it and see.

Story isn't final and I want input from eveyone involved before we choose to actully do it. It's entitled "The Ambush" and the idea is to convey the tension and silence before the actual attack.

At this point I am trying to get applications, which are really just to let me know who you are. From there I hope to compile a small roster and decide where were going to go from there. I know there are some very creative individuals about and would love to see what they can do.

If you wish I can type up what I have(still on paper =P)

Skills: Been here since 0.5 so...I;m new to the video editing department, just got Sony Vegas 9 Pro about 5 months ago. However it is not useable at the moment.

Why you want to be part of the team: Because making videos is great fun. I am willing, mature and would be dedicated to the team.

flying huey's, being an infantry, an actor. I've even acted in real life.


Extra comments/questions/concerns:How big of a team are you looking for?
Are you planning on being the Official PR Video team? basically the guys who make the promos for new releases?
What are YOUR ideas for story lines and such?

In no way are we affiliated with the current PR team, we are simply a group a people that wish to create high-quality machinima using Project Reality. However, if the PR team came to us and asked us to create a promo or trailer I doubt we'd refuse.

I could have called it a machinima group, but I prefer the word Team, as I want us all to work together in order to reach our goal.

You could do that =P Its not just one kind of thing we are doing...we will do comedy, dramatic, festive, romantic, action, ect, ect.

Whatever script we have agreeed to work on at the time, which could be something you write!

One way...

Make the viewer get familiar with characters, the main story would be as said, silence before the attack. So different stories around the camp and stuff. At the end the attack happens and some good people tragically die.

If you have a team in place and solid plans on how to do things, you can probably use my server. It's empty most of the times anyways . But let me first see how you guys progress. I know it's hard, once lead the PR Movie Crew (a long time ago).

One tip: don't be too kind, kick anyone who doesn't do what you want. You will only be able to make a somewhat decent machinima with a solid team.

Yes, I have had this problem in the past, I was to nice with my clan and didn't want to kick anyone. I plan to be pretty blunt if people get messsing about to much, not to say we won't have fun while recording and making these videos =D
