Thats some really good footage! :)
I quite like this vid:

It's not very good quality, but it follows through a whole firefight pretty nice.

With hindsight and the safety of civilisation, its rather easy to look back and condemn. But Im sure with the innumerable threats and pressures; quite likely for someone who doesn't care or disagrees about why they're their to fight in the first place, that form of 'release' can see quite necessary. The average age of a US serviceman during the Vietnam war was only 19. Approximately 50,000 US servicemen were KIA during the Vietnam war.
Taking those into account, its not hard to see why.

He probably didnt even want to be an Officer, alot of ppl signed up to be officers cuz they would get an extra 3 months off b/c they had to go to officer school and they thought that the war would end by then.

............anywayt its just weed............*giggles* IIRC the only reason cannabis is "the evil drug" that its seen as today is cuz back in the 30s a guy named William Hearst (probably working for the cigarette comp.) saw that cannabis was taking over as a leading drug. he didnt like that and started a war on cannabis. the funny thing is cannabis is less harmfull than cagarettes)
anyway....dont do drugs kids....
