Mumble setup

i'm having problems hearing people on mumble when i'm inside vehicles, even though my effects sound are on 50% mumble is still low. can you explain how i turn up mumble, i've tried turning up all kinds of places but it doesn't help.

Go to configure, settings, audio output, volume.

so that will make the voice of other players come out louder, and not make my own voice louder?
in audio input theres noise suppresion and amplification, how do i adjust them to turn up the volume to hear others?
