Simple question what was the first map you played when you first joined PR? Post the version, map, team, kit and a small bit of info on the round.

Mine was:

Version - PR .7
Map - Qwai River
Team - US
Kit - Medic

I spawned in and had the nicest squad give me the run through on the situation and even helped me understand the game better bettee than the manual did.

Personally, I don't think many people apart from the most recent, are going to remember their first map. All I remember was that it was a game changing experience.

First round that I actually remember was on Kashan Desert back in 0.6 on 10th Community.

I remember I hadn't played PR since 0.5 first came out during which i'd played a couple rounds and then just not managed to try it anymore.

I spawned with an RL mate and we TK'd each other for a bit cos we were a bit lost in the massive expanse of desert and there were only a handful of people on each side. He then got bored and left but I stayed and just ran around on my own. I remember moving along the eastern side of the bunker complex outside the wall, hearing shots going off from a small walled house/compound to the NE of the complex. They were firing into the bunkers but no sooner had I seen them than a BTR-90 (I think) rolled up behind me some 200m away and fired at them over my head.

I'll never forget the feeling of exhilaration I had hearing those rounds zoom over my head and watching the explosions tear down the house and its occupants. Been hooked ever since.

Loaded up mashtuur city on Sir community with fellow Sir's and played VIP/extraction for hours on end.

.3 Jungle Fever.... idk how I remember it, but I remember it like it was yesterday. Didn't have much teamwork, compared to now anyway. But I was hooked from there.

I remember a friend showing me this new mod he had found called Project Reality Mini-Mod (v0.1). First map I played was vanilla BF2's Strike at Karkand, and to be honest I didn't really like it, and uninstalled PRMM, and forgot all about the mod.

Years later, I came back to discover that the little PRMM had grown into a monster mod that was v0.8! After looking at some videos of it, I knew I had to play it and started the download straight away. Unfortunately, as soon as I'd finished downloading it, v0.85 was released, and had to redownload it! Grr! But once it was done, oh the glory! Jumped straight into the madness of Muttrah City, and had a fantastic time!

Fresh from reading the manual i though it would be cool to play as a civi.I spawn on the cache and within 2 min i am wounded and cant figure out how to heal myself,and the next thing i now we lose the round. i remember finding out really quickly that being a civi wasn't that much fun with a 120 respawn time

I really donot remember my first. i dL and got in to the game jsut becasue my buddy was in. only thing i remember is it was a small map with jungle. it had an railroad passing through map from south to north with a bridge. also a tunnel at the north side if I'm not wrong.

Could be Steel Thunder in 0.3 but I don't really remember it.

0.7 Mestia as militian militant. Either that or as tank gunner on kashan, can't quite remember which was first. Fairly sure it was Mestia though.

Maybe Muttrah V1 or Strike at Karkand 2 can't remember which one.

Fools Road, v 0.7. Jumped on to an American server the first time I played....never been hooked to a game like that before
