Tunnel Questions

I know its gonna be tunnels. So my questions are.

1.Will the tunnels be small, like you have to go prone instead on BF:V you could stand in the tunnels and that was pretty silly.

2.Will the tunnel entrances be hidden? Like you have to press a button to open the entrance/barrier so you actually have to been looking carefully to spot one, instead of just wak and se a hole........

3.Will it be spawnpoints in the tunnels (destroyable spawnpoints) so it actucally will be tunnel fighting.

4.Will it be made in traps in tunnels? (If so, will VC see where they are?)

5.Will US/Australia/France etc. have flashights and VC/NVA have candles.

I Personally Would Love to have tunnels However i do not think the BF2 engine supports Tunnels so we may have to go and spend OMG $3 on the game :P

of course it dose? it just doesn't support them being made in game by players.

The only way to make tunnels are to make a "valley" and cover it with huge objects as rocks. This have been done on Lashkar Valley for example, but I'm guessing it's harder to do so with smaller tunnels due to the engine.", though I'm not absolutely sure :)

for the record, EOD2 had some absolutely incredible tunnel environments and statics. If the Team is using the same material (as it appears to be by trailers and released material), we can probably count on at least some tunnel action.

Currently, there are no "small" tunnels in the EoD mod. Just ones you can walk through. However, at the moment, there are no tunnel maps in the mod. At some point, I may add one or two, but for now. I just want to get several good maps working well and then go from there.

Its a vietnam game, OF COURSE there will be tunnels.. lol

And they will probably be as good as the bf2 engine permits it, its true however that I dont remember much tunnels in EOD or EOD2.

Would be nice to have a Hamburger Hill map, with a nice complex of underground bunkers on the said hill.

I really wanted crouch or prone tunnels, but no of the other question is answered, will it be like a door thats openable? Booby Traps in the tunnels?
Whatever, im sure you DEVs know what youre doing ;) This will be good.

Hehe, patience isnt really my thing. I can if i want, but i guess i didnt want......


Oh, i got an amazing idea!
I guess open-lock-able doors, or ?vertical doors? isnt possible in BF2. So lets make the entrances for tunnels in bushes. Like the hole is actually in the bush, it will be like a ordinary jungle bush, and in it, it will be a hole, that u can jump down, go crouch/prone and crawl farther into the tunnel. And i also think VC should see tunnel entrances on the map ;)

PS.I used a transelator, so im unsure about the word "vertical doors" is really what i meant on my language.
For Norwegian/Scandinavian users maybe right this up, i meant the Norwegian word "luke" then i found "pick weed" so i coudnt use that one because i meant another meaning of the word.

there is at least one of these in PR already, and i really love it. also, vertical doors makes sense, but more people would probably use trap door

Not realisitic but...still tunnels, the ones in Vietnam were very small and you could only crawl/crouch in them to move around.
