Beatles were against the war (peace peace hippies flower power ) =S Why put it on a war game ? =P
Put some old as rock&roll-songs or just ask someone from the community ( like me ) who makes music =D

I'd like to have some "catchy" music to match the Vietnam era... Rolling Stones - Paint it black?
But copyrights > everything.
Wouldn't mind having a music player opened while playing though, Xfire supports Windows Media Player, so no trouble for me

Just use the BFV songs, that'll bring back some memories.
I'm loathe to let a load of gamers choose a soundtrack, because as a general rule, the majority of gamers are into heavy metal like Metallica, AC/DC, Iron Maiden - Not that that's a problem, but I'd like a little big of variety in an era-game rather than a biased group spouting the names of every rock band of the time they can think of.

I want to suggest less famous songs about the vietnam war. the sixties was a time of great music and the beatles we alle know..
One suggestion from my side: Creedence Clearwater Revival: Run Through The Jungle. Very rough and cool song with the spirit of the sixties.

Mmmm.
The Beatles' publisher would ask for a spasticly stupid sum of money for a song. That is why there are thousands of shitty Beatles' covers imo.

There's thousands of songs out there not copyrighted which can be used. But yeah Mumble is just as good for this purpose, even better as you can pick whatever song you have

I'd say this is untrue. People who like metal just seem to be a lot more outspoken/passionate about the music. I'm betting the majority still like pop/rock/rap more than metal.

Because the Vietnam war created a huge revolutionary counter-culture?

According to all the WoW videos I've been watching bad techno and bad trance is the most common music among gamers. That and bad metal. Bad is the keyword. Anyway, I would love to have this song somewhere:
