Until now I've never seen a BF2-Mod in which you can set the throw-strength of the grappling-hook with the right mouse-button as good as the grenades. with the grenades you can exatly set the throw-strength with the right mouse-button. But the grappling-hook is just flying one meter by holding the r. mouse-button until the bar is almost full. Can you fix that (so it's gonna be more like the throw-strength like throwing grenades) with the next Bugfix?

Example: You stand in front of a 2 meter high wall. if you throw the hook, its flying 20 meters (don't know exactly how high) into the sky and every enemy sees from far away a rope in the sky (so they know: ah! enemy!).

You are thinking of the RMB. Try using the RMB, at least I think that's what you mean.

you didn't need to make a second thread mate

but I do agree, when using the RMB it does seem rather all or nothing when it comes to teh grapple, but then again the grapple is inheritantly unrealistic (though necessary), so maybe its designed as a limitation for it.

Not really a bug mate, more a suggestion although I can see where you're coming from.

I just created a new post because I can only change the title into "RIGHT mouse-button" if I create a new one. Editing the title isn't possible. Or did you know that already :

Right click is for climbing down.

Not a bug, the right click function is so that you can drop the rope off a building.
