Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but.

Has any one noticed that the rockets that some Insurgents have on there backs are not RPG-7 rockets? I was wondering why do some Insurgents carrier rockets if they don't have a launcher for them?

AFAIK, it's a model from Vanilla BF2 (sf). It represent à RPG7 rocket but it's a bad model.

I don't think the devs will loose time to re-model that kit geometry. It's a small detail that doesn't affect the gameplay

its confusion sometimes for newcommers, who rush over the battlefield and think every kit has a rpg7 except theirs... they'll rush into open ground and get an rifleman kit with no rpg and die someway god has planned for them

How about we give them an ammo pack and we wouldn't have to pretend.

I can't wait until the insurgents get the same treatment as the US Army and get some nice new fancy kit geometries. You up for it Read? I'm sure your not busy or anything.

IMO, the insurgents don't get the same treatment as other factions is because insurgents are normally just regular Iraqis that pick up their AK-47s and RPGs when the US or a NATO unit comes rolling through town. They aren't an organized military unit like the Marines, Army, British, Canadians, Russians, and Taliban. Sure this is a game, and I like to play it as such. But even though it's a game, I think the Devs would like to keep the factions as close to their real life counter-parts as possible. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong Devs.

Meh, its a SF model, i doesnt look so bad with the RPG warheads on the back, but i waould mind seeing them removed.

I would like to see an 'RPG Ammo' item added to the Insurgent's AK kits, either in place of the stone or alongside it. Would encourage RPG teams to move around for extra ammo.

But I remember someone saying that ammo cannot be bound to a singular item such as the RPG itself.

Since this confuses players maybe removing the RPG model from their back might be another way of optimising PR, just cutting out an unneeded model and texture

...But they look cooler with those RPG warheads sticking out.

I remeber yelling out "OMG HAT KIT" on every insurgent I saw as a noob, until I realized every insurgent had RPG's on their backs =P

*cough, cough* ... thats our special forces unit not terrorists kkthxbai.

Then again, only RPG kit should have the actual RPGs in the back. I doubt its hard to assign a different geometry to SL kit (or whatever i had...)

Hmm those are the actual RPG warheads? I always thought they were some sort of covering for them...I'll keep thinking that.
