Guys, i still cant figure out how is that the LB doesn't have rockets in Ramiel, a map full of technicals..........

What can you do with a poor lb like that? only kill infantry in the desert, cause u cant do other thing or you will get killed by a technical.....

I ask some light to the mapper or the responsible person that can make the change.... i thought you would do it by yourself at 0.9 but didnt happen, i think you might need a suggestion for making the change..

Thanks..

Fast Transport, quick in quick out, its smaller and will therefor be easier to land ;)
Try to land a Chinook at the catsle tower you will get my point.
Also, LB get less attention.

The LB in ramiel is a attack bird

Adetter....wtf are you talking about? Chinook + Castle = Operation Archer, and we are clearly talking about the weaponised Little Bird, which only has 2 slots

I think the setup is to encourage the LB as a scout, but with the advent of the UAV, I would think that you are correct that it should be used in a CAS role. Though I hate littlebirds with a passion because of their wierd flight physics and their RL use by non-regular forces I can see where you're coming from.

Personally I'd just put on an apache instead :D loved it when the apache was on Karbala instead of the LBs.

another Blackhawk replacing the LB would be much better for gameplay imo as its not such a huge nuisance to teh INS team, but gives more options to the USA team in terms of transport and supplies.

if it was designed for scout it should have more camera angles or something.... and thinking in the game.... who would use a lb only for giving information? nobody...

I would also prefer an apache there. Sure maybe the insurgents will get raped occasionally but they have AA kits, RPG kits, tehnicals so I think an apache is a good idea.
I would like to see more maps with combined arms type of play any day.

Ohh, never played on Ramiell with LB until i uinstalled Bf2, cuz im getting my new computer in 4 days ;)
And since he said it hadnt rockets i thod it was the transport LB and not the one with Minigun.
Sorry, my bad.

you can kill technicals with miniguns it just takes practice and you have to shoot at the gunner(s)

I think the apache would be a good addition to that map. Yeah, its a little unfair against insurgents but I don't think it would be that hard to take out with a .50 or a good RPG hit.

Anyone who thinks the Apache would be overpowered on ramiel should go and fly it over the city on COOP and see what happens.

And if a human team does worse than a bot team then the cause is really lost.

With an attack LB like Karbala it will be good...

Or we can put an F16 (?) lol

Minimum distance for jets on a map is 4km, so not F16s, Fusion. The Apache would be a fine addition, it wasn't overpower on Karbala, so I don't think it would be overpowered on Ramiel.

I've been saved many times by the gun LB in Ramiel... I just love it. IMO it's OK without rockets... but I don't normally fly on Ramiel...

Or maybe an F-22 Raptor? But sadly there isnt enough space. An Apache might do, but it would get raped by the insurgents and not the other way round xD

If the devs really wanted the LB to be used as a scout they should lower the spawntime and amount of tickets. With a respawn of 20 min and 10 tickets you are hurting your team scouting over the city or anything because you're so easy to kill.

A two seat LB with no guns would make a perfect scout, could be worth 3 to 5 tickets and have a 5 to 10 minute spawn time and be an excellent replacement for the MG littlebird in insurgency.

to what end Snooggums? The commander UAV is more effective and safer than a scout LB could be

there's my incomplete suggestion, besides my poor knowledge of coding it's basically an apache without hellfires or sidewinders and with double the hydras (when i work that bit out).

oh and it goes and about 1700kmh in game (i know i'm amazing[ly sh*t])

How? I don't think you even have enough space for that in KAsHAN! (ie. to achieve 1700km/h)
