Considering how it is a bit difficult to move around on Archer, why add a tank? I think the LAV-3 does a well enough of a job, Just my opinion

Yeah, Leopard would be overkill. It's not even the type of map where bringing a tank would be plausible, not even even ground and open space like there is on Al Basrah and Fallujah. Besides, leave the insurgents a few maps at least where they don't get tank raped.

Public servers don't play vehicle warfare.

The LAV-3 really needs revision, it's far too tippy, just hitting a bump on a road can tip you over.

well we use it in A-Stan.. =\ and L2A6M-C is like under-used, only 1 map, in only 1 mod...

The USAF use the AC130 gunship in the war on terror (well at least according to tons of vids on youtube) so by that logic it should also be in game.

Any tank on Archer is simply too big for the map, and most of the map is mountainous, the tank would only be able to follow the roads which would mean a quick death.

The LAVs are currently suffering from the same problem, the best thing they can usually do is go up the hill near the castle and shoot down into the town.

The gunship squadrons are part of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), a component of United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

Spec ops uses them. Not Regular Forces. PR is Regular Forces oriented.

Also, adding the Leopard to any map makes it unbalanced. 5 T90's vs 1 Leopard? Leopard wins. : D

But seriously, I would love to see it added to an AAS map.

At least the Leopards don't flip... :|

Well 5 T90 against 1 Leopard 2A6M... would be more 3 T90 destroyed and the Leopard shreded.

Its not like they're not used to support regular forces, in the Battle of Khafji, a AC-130 supported the 1st Marine division through the night, until it was shot down. In all it destroyed more than 10 Iraqi armored vehicles. I could see it in the future.... but in very large maps, and in very little numbers.

I'd say T-72's.

T-90 / T-80U aren't origamis stacked alluminium foils from what I recall :p

If no Leo2, how about a CV90?

Isn't the Canadian army currently testing them? Wikipedia says they only have one in use and its not confirmed.
