Help me build a new rig

Im not sure about a few things but heres the stuff I got down:
Moboard = ASUS P6X58D Premium
CPU = Intel Core i7 930 2.8
GPU = GeForce GTX 275
RAM = CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB)
HHD = Western Digital 640GB
Case = Antec Three Hundred
fans = 120mm , 140mm
CD/DVD = Sony
PSU = i dunno wat to get ...
Network car ??? do i need one?= Newegg.com - Intel PWLA8391GT 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI PRO/1000 GT Desktop Adapter 1 x RJ45 - Network Interface Cards]Intel PWLA8391GT [/URL]
Soundcard???? do i need this too?
also i just have a smiple question, this is my first time building a computer, how do you know if the graphic card and CPU....work togeather...
