Yea I want it back as-well, its hard to spot with this one, its like spotting with a sniper scope.

It did have 2 levels of zoom. Something like a marksman level of zoom and then something thats farther than a sniper scope. I find the GTLD almost impossible to use on the fly. It just narrows your field of view way too much. I can't imagine the real one is that restrictive. But if it is... well I say screw reality cause its better for the gameplay to have the old style.

I agree that the multi zoom should be re-implemented. I now only use the GLTD for extreme distance recon (of course I still use the LT part of it) or for when I can't get a positive ID on an enemy, when he's really close, with the scope.

The zoom is simply too much to only have one level for it

It is a bit OTT for one level of zoom, you locate a target, you zoom, and you got to spend precious seconds finding the damn thing again in the tiny FOV. If it can only have 1 level of zoom, then it should be zoomed out a small margin, about 0.8x what it is now, I reckon

Please make old GLTD come back.
RUDD - it is and it's less useful than was before.

Some people seem to state otherwise, me included.

The real life system that it is modeled after only has a fixed-power zoom.

pretty sure it got removed because of people with older computers it crashed on them but i agree that it is way harder to spot with now and is less useufl than it was before

Sighting optics: Power 10X
doesn't this refer to it? I guess it has no level by level zooms but something like digital zoom. I guess

That'd be correct. Well, [R-DEV]Eddie Baker pretty much crushed this suggestion.
