You don't need a network card, as the cable can just be plugged into the motherboard when the drivers are installed, same with soundcard. I have x-fi extreme gamer and when I compare that to my onboard I can't tell a difference, only if you want EAX in gaming there may be a little. The thing you have to look out for is what type of RAM, graphic card and CPU the motherboard can take. CPU and graphics card type does not relate. If you run XP you only need 3 gb as it does not support any higher. And your PSU should at least have 350 watt, minimum.

oh ok i got you. so is a 600w PSU good in your opinion? one more thing what is a heatsink? is it any diffrent from a fan? do i need one or can i just have thoes two fans alone

Yes that would be fine. A heatsink is a piece of metal used to sit over the CPU to lead heat away, and then there's a fan on top of it, it should come with the CPU itself, so you will just need those 120 and 140mm fans to blow some air in and out of the computer case.

Yeah they should fit. I'd go with the 750 just to be on the safe side. If you need any help putting it all together when you get it just write to me.

I wouldn't spend that much money for a mother board. You can find one for less than 100 bucks that will do he same thing that will do. In general the processor and ram makes the computer better not the motherboard.
I'd go with an amd setup, personally. They are cheaper, and price for performance kills intel and if you ever have to upgrade in next few years or so, your upgrades will be cheaper as well.
For example you can get an amd motherboard for 50 bucks, amd phenom II x 4 965 black 3.2 for 185. That processor is just as good as the intel you have selected but its cheaper.
I also think 4GB ram is enough. You can always buy another 2 GB in future if you need it.
You were talking about spending close to a thousand dollars. Which is absurd if you ask me.
Go here man get you one of these save half of that all you have to do is buy a graphics card

if you have to have a core i7 go with this one.

I've been watching these go for 520 max. This is a great gaming computer and already comes with a great graphics card.

Just to add to what everyone else is saying, that case is a crock of sh*t. Dont spend that much money on an awesome gaming rig, and buy a shoddy 60 dollar case. Get an Antec Nine hundred 2, they are EXCELLENT for cooling, and they look damn awesome.
