Still after all the changes im noticing the command chair is still being left empty. and due to the lack of relatable spawns, it important to have cohesion because is simply no longer possible for squads to work independently. which im just not seeing very often because there’s no one to organise it.

My suggestion is Fix the commander position. I really don't care how it done any thing will do. It might even be possible to give squad leaders a certain hiraquie, so one leader can give instructions to the others. Sort of like giving the leader the position of captain and giving him control of 4 squads.

Or tweak it so the commander lead a squad operate out side the command tent, got to realise that one you given your team instructions and they start carrying it out, then there’s not much else you can do but sit there scratch your nuts and stare at a blank screen, plus the way command is presented is boring as hell. it needs to be revamped. for example the sat feed in BF2 where you can zoom in and observe the battle was there for a reason to keep you entertained you probably should bring it back.

in this regard realism can fly out the window this is one of the instances realism is interfering with the game.

This has nothing with updates or hotfixes. Unless Squads and SLs start listening/following commander orders and tactics being commander will not be so fun.

1. this isnt really a suggestion, you cant just say "fix this".
2. Your "idea" or giving squad leaders a hierarchy sounds hardcoded (as with all things squad related)
3. i believe the commander can operate outside of his chair
4. no, just no. Also , we have the UAV.

I've been having a CO thing recently, it's not boring anymore, but it seems to take about an hour before SL's trust me enough to try and do coordinated stuff, then the round ends...
