How can IronTaxi make such a good map like Qwai and then make something so awful like Siege of Ochamachira...

It's not the map, it's the players.

Aye, was a shame cutting out FIVE Chinese maps.

I believe there are a few in development however, I know that someone was making a Op Blue Pearl style map, there is an overview pic floating around somewhere.

from a mapping perspective its a fantastic map, its probably the most detailed industrial area in any PR map, from a gaming perspective you need to get in a certain mentality before you play it, and that is of deliberate operations.

its not a map where 32 randoms vs 32 randoms is going to produce a finely tuned result

its a map where 32 militia need to have extremely coordinated tactics and organised attacks rather than doing the uruk hai thing and just charging at the walls.

Though if you have suggestions on how to improve it please go ahead, because i don't think its fair to call it aweful, especially since I don't see you makin any maps :P

This is just ridiculous. So you can't criticize or say about your feeling toward anything you can't do? You can't tell about politics when you are not politician? You can't complain about food/car if you're not making it? You can't complain that some incompetent surgeon until you can operate; you can't criticize religion if you are not one of priest? Cmon. Stop with that attitude sir, it's illogical and counter productive.

Everybody uses that argument if someone complains about something. :? ??: You'll get used to it.

There's a gigantic gap between complaining and constructive criticism. Generally, the former is met with "I don't see you making any maps" because no one wants to talk with someone who is being 'counter productive' and complaining about a map without any effort to try to identify the issues with the map so that they can be fixed.

Don't get me wrong. I don't support mindless criticism. Making proper and valid arguments is important. My point is that statement "u can't speak if you are not X" is as well pointless as saying "this sucks". Both are not pushing development toward any progress.

And stating personal opinion won't hurt anybody as well.

Your argument sucks

See what I did there? It's the same thing when complaint about a map, saying "this map sucks" is just as insulting to a mapper as it is to anyone else for anything else. In your example if someone says a car sucks, right the the designers face, it would ve highly insulting. However, if you said, this radio and the seatbelt sucks, the most people will go "hmm, hey, your right, let me fix that next time"

No you've missed the point. :P You can say that car sucks as well as saying that belts sucks. You just have to give proper arguments and proper discussion. That is the core thing about constructive criticism.

On the other hand, you can as well state your personal opinion - "I don't like blue colour". Without proper arguments. It's then matter of opinion and not insulting but not constructive so there is usually no reason to post such statements here.

I have a question... is there any special reason for I (and all my squad) have a very strong lag in Lashkar Valley, which sometimes becomes barely movable?

Also, what about the rainbow grass? I felt like I was the main character of "GoGuapsy in Wonderland"...

I know you have a "why"... But something that breaks a lot of "this/that/you suck/s" is a simple question: "Why?"

I've been in some talks where I say I want to go to the military. Some say "Haha you can't do it...". Then I ask "Why?". I win the argument - as in, most people say something without thinking. When you say "why", they think about it for a sec an see how wrong they were. In this situation, they realized that I, in fact, had (one of, if not the) best physical conditioning of my school...

I know this was a bit off-topic, just saying something that was useful to me IRL...
