Well since the official xfire group doesnt allow unsupported ComFacs to enter I have actually listened to the advice and created a unofficial group with hope of seeing further developments on "forum-less" factions and to know if a ComFac is being worked "underground" or is just...well dead.

What are the benefits of this group?

We provide an sub-forum for your faction under the Xfire forums so you can show progress and receive feedback for your work.It also promotes cooperation between factions to help each other or maybe even produce an merge of factions.



So the principle is same as with the official group. Its invite only and I am using the same application form as the official group:

Comfac Team:
Skill:

As with the official group you must change your nickname to match your forum name and to avoid confusion you will also have to add an prefix in squared brackets which will be divided into two parts. First part will mark the ComFac you belong to while the second part will be your skill set (multitaskers will have to choose their main position).
This is how it should look like:

Here is a list of skill sets and their abbreviations

MOD - Modeler
TEX - Texture artist
MAP - Mapper
COD - Coder
EXP - Exporter
LEAD - Leader
ADV - Advisor
RES - Researcher

Note: Use national abbreviations instead of abbreviating the military name (unless its absolutely necessary)

I am also going to set a couple of additional rules:
- No prejudice. If you are part of a dev team of some ComFac, no matter which faction it aims to bring to PR, you qualify. However I am going to need confirmation by your Dev Lead.
- For a ComFac to qualify for this group it has to have the following: A Design Plan and Proof of Development,meaning some piece of work done (doesnt matter if its a model, skin, map or whatever). Failing to show a DP and a PoD will not get you invited.

Now that the wall of text is done (and I hope someone actually read this far) I would strongly urge for the Unofficial ComFac leaders to apply. Also I would appreciate if the management (yes R-DEVs im looking at you ) would support this and ofc if someone from the official factions wants to join I would love to add them to the roster.

Common if you got an Faction going please sign up. And dont go with the "PR Devs said they dont want X faction in the game" argument as thats completely false.
