RIB exit points

What about altering the exit points on RIBs? As it is now, when you exit the vehicle you are placed in the water beside the boat. Since the boat is generally moving slowly or stopped when you exit it (you get hurt otherwise), why not have it deposit you standing inside the boat?

Just like the technical, if you are on the gun you get off while inside the truck bed.

I think it would be best to exit people off the front or front corners, but I've never really found this to be an issue since the driver usually beaches it completely...

Hopefully this weekend I'll post up my experimental boat for the Somalians and a tweaked BLUFOR boat which should allow when exiting a boat to exit on top of it instead of in the water and allow you to throw a grappling hook from the boat.
There are allot of thing to do to get this map going.

I made a tweak file for my Eyl map for experimenting. It can be easily done.

ye, the only problem is that if the boat keeps moving it can hurt/kill the players standing in it but that shouldn't be that common.

The grappling throw was the whole reason behind the suggestion really. How else can you board a ship without a ladder or chopper?
As to standing on moving vehicles: I still remember riding a US APC in jabal al burj in .7. Somehow it would drop you on the back deck when you got out in water. As long as shift was not employed it didn't ride half bad. With shift it was just jumpy.

Yeah its a issue Rhino but personally a very "so what" issue. Stop the boat
I'm still experimenting with it but if PR a a whole doesn't feel like implementing it it will be a tweak file included with the level that will allow it. Its a simple exit here code.
