Nobody shows up on Mumble Server

I downloaded mumble a few months back and used it occasionally. Recently i tried going back on it to use it but when i log onto the server in the FAQ it logs me in but nobody shows up as on the server. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same problem is happening. I don't know what else to do to fix it.
