[New build] No video on my new build
Posted: 2010-04-29 15:43
I finaly got my parts and put them toghether only to find that i dont get anny video output from my gfx card.
I cant seem to find where the problem is and im hoping that some of you guys may have some pointers to what to do
Specs:
Asus p6t deluxe V2
Corsair xms3 ddr3 6 gb @ 1600mhz (CL9 i think)
Intel I7 920 (stock)
an old Asus hd4850 MATRIX
Samsung spinpoint disk @ 7200 rpm and 320 gb
Corsair Tx 650W PSU
I have tried to boot with only one stick of ram (1 by 1) and it dindt give me any video signal.
Im considering clearing CMOS,but im a bit unshure if i should..
might be worth mentioning, neither my mouse or keyboard seem to get anny love either.
None of the lights are lighting up on the mouse or keyboard, however, all the fans and LED´s on the MB are on and going strong.
I can aslo hear the hdd spinning in there.
NOTE: i do not have any speaker to her the "beeb-codes"
EDIT:
I found the culprit, a bent pin in the socket for the CPU....oh joy!
This can be delted or kept for future reference if you please
