To start i am not sure if Right now im PR we are "USING" the L85 or the L98... Dont judge

So while looking online at differnt information and pictures i came across a couple small ideas to improve the brittish faction. Seeing that brittian hasnt had any Major changes since the creation of PR except vehicles and weapon sounds + remodel shaping i think its time to add some new features they deserve it lol

Not to mention that the player skins need a Bit of refishing suchas the cammo,faces,or even the Earpiece radio that somtimes is sticking out of the players head lol
here are some ideas.....

L86 LSW


Notice the back forgrip?? probibly used to hold while shooting to improve stability of the guns recoil. with the new addition to the Deployed mode of Marksman rifles which DO infact improve stability and decrease recoil in PR. This adition to the weapon model will simulate Why the new deployed stage is so stable.
Plus. Somthing i didnt notice untill looking at pictures.. At the end of the Buttstock there is a folding Shoulder cage that flips UP when you want improved stability and avoid slipping of the butt stock while shooting. later down the road possibly some one could animate the guy Flipping down the Bipods then fliping up the cage while going into deployed mode.

L22 carbine


Wikipedia Description:
"Based on the L85A1 a compact carbine known as the L22A1 was also developed with a short, 442 mm barrel (the weapon's weight, with the optical sight – 4.42 kg, length – 709 mm). The forward handguard was replaced with a vertical grip. The weapon uses the same SUSAT sight as found on the full size L85. The weapon has been upgraded with a Picatinny rail accessory rail instead of the fixed front grip."

And this is my favorite part...which was at the end of the description

"These carbine variants are used in small numbers by armoured vehicle crews."

These guns can be added to replace the exsisting crewman kit rifle.

So the first thing you see in this picture is the Warrior.. i am not 100% on the given Apc Number Will do a bit more research.

On maps like Quinling or even albasrah a 50CAL Apc seems more fitting than the Large arsanol of explosive type rounds .... Cimitar AND a tank?? Cmon lol bit Over kill. Eventhough they Do get destroyed..

Second part of the picture .. look at the soldier I think that the Squad leader kit weapon should be colored a dark gray / Black instead of normal Green. Reasons? Non that would improve the game lol ... just it would depict his weapon out of a group as .. He is the leader lol because his gun looks more badass lol.. OR we could do like Isreals weapon Give the squad leader .. either the L22 or any other varient with a Longer or Shorter barrel + forgrip.

L98 (AIRSOFT)
Looks a bit like a Galil :O lol ... If there are any other varients for officers in the army we should add it to PRs Officer.. if not Color the Baby BLACK

Squaddie is working on soldier kit geometries, and the devs are underway with a soldier retexture iirc. As for the other stuff, I think the devs have the brits in mind, but opfor are taking priority because the chinese faction is still mainly vanilla gear.

The marksman rifle you showed is the l86, but the british are currently getting new marksman rifles.

Also the l85s are being upgraded to include ris, foregrips and a new scope - ACOGs are shown on a lot of new pictures but I recall one of the guys on here saying they were actually getting the elcan scope (twas probably bob )

I say help out the chinese, THEN work on britts

I think the .50 cal warrior is much more realistic on an insurgency map rather than the usual main turret (it is overkill )

As for the black SL weapon, i personally dont care, but if it's how it is in real life, DO IT

Is this some sorta necro post or something? because we have the LSW in game already since like, 0.4 and the Bulldog APC and L22 have been suggested a bazillion times

The APC in in that picture is an FV432 Mk.3 "Bulldog" not a warrior.

L86A2 is being phased out (when I say phased out, I mean being cut up into L22A1)

The SA80 carbine you showed for the officer was only an experimental model that was never produced in large numbers or issued to British forces (and was never given an "L" number, L98 is the cadet rifle)

The Dev Team is well aware of the L22A1 and it will be introduced in good time - there are more important issues to attend to currently.

To be honest, most of these are asthetic changes and of no real importance to gameplay. They will be implimented but are not a priority.

whoopie for reposting hahah .... OH so the LSW I Know it is already in game but the additon of the Backward forgrip would sort of indicate why the weapon has the much better stability and lesser deviation.. yes i know bi pods too but its just a thought

oh dear. Why are you even suggesting items like the L86 which are already ingame and also suggesting items you have no clue what they are (That APC is a bulldog).

We are fully aware of all these items...
