[help] mapping material to a static

Mmkay, I'm following the tutorial here Creating Your First Static In Max / Gmax - Official BF Editor Forums

I'm up to the last step, mapping a material to it, however, when I click the dots in the tweaker absoloutely nothing happens.

Anyone know what's going wrong, or am I going to have to learn how it's .con file works..

I'm sure when the time is right he will tell you what he's making but you really shouldn't pressure anyone to get them to tell you what they are making since it can have a really bad effect to showcase your work too soon.

He is most likley right now just trying to learn how to make a static and nothing more.

Right on, my modelling skills.. well I have none, haha.

I'm only making the simple crate in the tutorial, using gmax however.
