Yesterday in one of the servers (which i can not recall right now) the rally points were not expiring. So is that some kind of bug or do servers have choice of settings on rally points?

can be. I've set rally point on our way to flag and at flag we built a fob. But there was no fob at the time we I set the rally.

Nope. What I'm saying is in that specific map the SL set rally points were not expiring after 60 sec.

But I also noticed the thing you wrote last night in Yamalia. It may me something special for that map. There were several rally points around the map -very close to Canadian HQ- which are already set as soon as the map starts! Oh and when the map starts as Russian side we already have control of all the flags! Again I think it is server setting or a different game mode.

P.S: It was the SWE server just remembered.

Hmmm... sounds intresting. I got to try out how it actually works. Bugs are not necessarily bad for the gameplay. I have funny feeling that dev:s have created something cool by accident.

I really do fail to see the problem with an RP next to a firebase. They both allow you to spawn.

I've noticed that rallies expire close to the firebase as soon as I place them, instead of staying up

I got that bug when building my Rally by the FOB (it was still there after the FOB went down, so I suppose it feeds up from supply crates, or repair stations? If it feeds up from supply crates. make so you cannot deploy rallys within 100m from supply crates - encourages building FOBs).

I've experienced a rally spawnable next to a FB that was overrun, there was an enemy squad there next to the rally, and it was still spawnable.

This actually occurred also on TG servers a bit back. A squad was able to have two Rally points up, one (the first one) was near an FO, the second one wasn't near anything. However, I believe shortly after the placing of the second RP they both vanished.

Isn't that in violation of the server license?
