As far as I searched nothing suggested on that issue. May be because its not possible or it may be an small issue but like to have that.

Right now if you wanna join a locked squad you have to write it on chat. Sometimes multiple times. Can we add something like "send join request" When you try to join a locked squad an automatic request goes to SL saying "BLA BLA WANTS TO JOIN SQUAD. PRESS PGUP TO ACCEPT OR PGDWN TO REJECT"

As I said this may not be a big issue but can be useful and practical.

Squad setting are hardcoded,so it seems we just gotta stick with the chat requist

I think BF2 had that in the early versions, when you clicked Join on a locked squad, the SL would get a page up/down option to let teh guy in. But it got removed/broken in a patch.

I think I've seen the "Join request timed out" on occasion in the latest version, but no message.

Do you realize how annoying this could be for a Squad Leader if someone constantly spams a request even though the Squad Leader doesn't want anymore players in his squad?

It sounds good on paper, but in actuality, it's not very practical.

I also got ultra mega annoyed by constantly kicking silly 12 y/o minded people who insist on getting into my squad but never complain because it happens not much.

Yes, but you have the ability to lock your squad so the troublesome player can't get in. So in reality, your point is moot.

With your proposal, what's stopping someone from constantly spamming a Squad Leader with invite requests?

i dont like it either.

i mean, if your CO gives you a marker, then someone requests to join your squad as you accept your marcker, but dont want them in, they will get in, and you dont have the option for the marker anymore...

Yeah the "K"ey will have to do it for now. But taking this opportunity... why the heck does so many players don't READ the bloody team chat?? Not even the Green one!!! Once I couldn't play with a mic, so I screaming with the L key "HE IS FRIENDLY!! DON'T SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" YES that many stuff, many times.

Result? A very beautiful 300m TK.

Rudd was saying that the idea cant be done as when he refferred to K key that key is used for team chat

I still think we should have it. Reduce Spamming of request and in chat, if you lose your marker, ask for it again, and finally, this might actually make players think that chat is worth while to look at.

P.S. Silly, I don't believe that "actuality" is a word, and if it is it shouldn't be.
