I was trying to set up a local co-op map for me to practice flying and all. However, to the best of my knowledge, there is zero way to get the pilot's kit. Or for that matter, request any new kits.

Pressing T does nothing here!

I tried quitting and relaunching PR, I tried binding a new key for request kit, then I switched it back. I also hit every key on the keyboard.

To the best of my knowledge, there is ZERO way to request kits in co-op. This seems illogical, so this bug report is 80% a "what am I doing wrong" report.

So please, enlighten me! (My Plan B is to practice flying on the TG server! )

Well... sorry to ask but... were u in squad ?

Please direct me to the closest wall so I may promptly smash my head against it.
