I know adding the trip flare for taliban wouldn't be realistic, but what if we had like a bell ring instead?

Like you walk through and hear the tone of a small bell, this could be used with the taliban AP kit and even help set up ambushes.

This wouldn't require too much work, but add some more options.
The conventional force's AP kits are getting flares so why not make it even?

Or even spread some broken glass on the floor, which would crack when stepped on.

bells seem a bit odd, but some kind of noise maker would be fun

Remember one of the James Bond films where one of his allies threw pistachio shells on the ground as an early warning?

Glass would be a great idea, especially that it wouldn't disappear like the trip flares. Obviously it wouldn't be as loud.
Presumably in the inventory it would be the bottle already modelled that could break on impact.

i just hope that insurgent would have some stuff in their inventory.

It could be like a small burlap sack filled with broken glass or something.

I think this would be actully be better than a trip falre as ppl usally think when trip flares go off they are inscendiers and could imagine insurgents taliban using somthing like this IRL

I use grenade traps as audio notifications of enemy movement

How about something that is readily available and simple to produce?

Something like a few cans filled with small stones and strung up on wire that would rattle when the trap has been tripped?

I would say cans on strings and pieces of glass that snap and pop when stepped on would be awesome.
