I'm making a small mod at the moment and I want to change the menu music from vBF2.
BUT, I can can't figure out how to do it. I have found the menu_music.ogg file, but when i replace it with my own file (convertet to ogg) i doesn't play ingame.
Can any of you guys help me? I would appreciate it.

Thanks :)

look into

yourmod/Mod.desc

open it with a text editor

it contains this in the vBF2 mod
<mod>
<title> MODDESC_BF2_TITLE </title>
<desc> MODDESC_TEXT </desc>
<url> Battlefield 2 Complete Collection: BF2 for PC - EA Games </url>
<logo> mod.png </logo>
<icon> mod_icon.png </icon>
<music> common/sound/menu/music/menu_music.ogg </music>
<version> BF2 1.5 </version>
</mod>
how to convert music to get played in BF2, just google it and you will find a answer pretty quick

I HAVE located the menu_music.ogg file
But I don't know how to convert my music to the right format, just converting to .ogg doesn't seem to work.
Do you know how convert to the right format?

you need a 44kHz .wav file and then use a OGG Converter

I'm afraid I'm a little retarded...

I can't get it to play ingame.

"I" made the music in audacity and all sound channels are on 44100 Hz, then I save it as .Wav and then use the blaze converter to convert it to .ogg ...
