I keep getting these messages after reinstalling windows and PR. I really have no clue what they mean and I have tried reinstalling everything and it still comes back like this.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Install the latest version of Net Framework.
This is the link for 3.5SP1 Full Package English Version:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... etfx35.exe
'[R-DEV wrote:Twisted Helix;1117675']Are you on Vista Trooper22 ? If so do you have SP1 installed for vista ? IF so , you do not need to do anything other than install 3.5 on your clean system and the the 3.5 Sp1.

The problems arise when you install older versions of .NET , you should always try to go for the most uptodate.

Basically if you are on XP ... and you have .NET 2.0 SP2 installed then you do not need to install 3.5 SP1. I actually wrote the exe to be .NET 2.0 compliant, but the problem arises because you need the SP2 installed and for vista you cannot download that, the only way you can get it is by installing 3.5 SP1.

However there is nothing wrong with installing 3.5 Sp1 as you will need to have it on your machine soon anyway as whether the doom and gloom merchants like it or not ... .NET is the future for Microsoft, that is not going to change, and if folks don't like it then folks should switch to MAC.

.NET is already built into both Vista and Windows 7 ... its not going to go away, it underpins C# which is fast becoming one of the major application development languages due to the speed at which software can be written in it.

If its not working for you ... try uninstalling your .NET versions first, you can do this simply by going to your Add/Remove programs. (although if on vista you will never get rid of the base 2.0 as its built in)

Sometimes though if errors occurred during installation, it can be hard to uninstall it completely , in which case you should use a tool like this ...

Completely Uninstall/Remove .Net Framework with .Net Framework Cleanup

But only as a last resort .... its for removing damaged traces , not uninstalling .NET which you should always do through add/remove programs.
Good luck
