Shooting Civilians

Recently I've tried to play as a Civilian Colaborator, as I just press tab and there are no "medics" on my insurgent team, okay so I spawn as a Civ. But the thing I started to notice and began to annoy me is the fact that BLUEFOR players shoot Civilians just to harm them, not to kill. This is a express violation of ROE. But those BLUEFOR players get no penalties for doing so, I guess. But the real problem is that I read on the manual that a Civilian Colaborator can be killed without any penalty by the BLUEFOR player within one minute after the Civilian has used his healing kit or epipen.

So you guys can get the picture.

"I'll harm the civilian, he'll heal himself, therefore I can kill him without worries."

If this happens to be correct, this sucks bad man. I suggest a modification on the way how it works, like no more "free civilians kill" if they use their healing bag or instant but light score penalty to BLUEFOR players for any harm caused to a Civilian Colaborator.

Comment please and correct me if I happen to be wrong.

im pretty sure u can use your medic bag without being allowd to be shot

Yes, the medic kit doesn't put into the ROE. Only the epipens and resuscitation does that.

Oh thanks, I wasn't sure about that.

Anyway there still could be a light penalty for harming the Civilians.

Using Epipens, Resucitation, entering a vehicle, and spawning allow you to be killed by the BLUFOR for X amount of time after using it. 1 minute I think.

Nobody really knows how they work still. I will find humor in this for some time. It's been like 5 versions since special ROE has been introduced, and we still have no idea how they work.

another thing you should think about is to stick with your buddies. If your fellow insurgents can see you and cover you, all you need to do is run in their direction before healing yourself.

Spawning, using a vehical, epi-pen, or resusitate will allow you to be killed up to 1 minute after using it. So 1 min after you spawn, or 1 min after u get out of a car or 1 min after you switch to a weapon other than the epi-pen or resusitate. Not hard to understand.

I play it safe and am never a civilian. And when I'm marines, I play it safe and shoot them.

Would be nice, if you find a reason to play civilian collaborator in skirmish maps, where BLUFOR have no intel points. No one want to be an easy target. In skirmish maps, insurgents can not even heal themself, no combat medic or specialist, so the best way to have one - steal kit from BLUEFOR, but this looks isn't good enough for civilian role.

This was antagonizing me last night. Honestly, nothing makes me laugh and cringe as watching some civilian run up to me with his hands up. Then he runs away from me when I try to arrest him before either picking up a kit and shooting me, or luring me to my death.

That or he just throws rocks at me begging me to shoot him, which I oblige.

I was playing in a server the other day when an enemy squad had 3 civis in it. Our squad decided to mow each and every civi down mulitple times. We were playing on one of the skirmish maps. We didn't allow the enemy to kill us that much. I don't think anybody on our team had more than 3 deaths. It was massacre.

At one point I had to wait over 350 seconds to spawn in. I used that time to eat lunch and use the bathroom, lol.
