Some new choppers got added to the vehicle list in the last couple of patches.

I believe .90 and .91

The MEC have a new chopper that looks similar to the LB.

The Kiowa Was also added to the List.

Heres the problem. I edited the map Al basrah on single player so that these 2 choppers would be there.

I spawn in and this happens when i try to get into both choppers.

Get pilot kit.
Push E to get in.
Crash to desktop once i enter chopper.

On both choppers this happens, It might be the Devs not wanting us to use these choppers yet but i dont know why they would add them to the vehicle list if we cant use them.

Please help, i want to try these new choppers.

Well it's just like you said, the DEVs added the code to the game....but didn't impliment it. Most likely because they have a few bugs to work out.

The purpose is so that the next release won't be as large because some of the files are already downloaded.

They're not finished, so if you use them you should expect bugs, such as crashing to desktop.
They may be there for multiple reasons.

They'll be released soon, just keep it in your pants a little longer.

you nailed it ! the kiowa is for which faction? cos it think its pretty widely used, i think...

USA, Canada and Austrialia i guess.

But what do the MEC get? Gazelle?

They're not on any maps in-game for a reason

They both worked when I tried them.(not perfectly, but no crashing to desktop)

Edit: it was version 0909 not the current 0917, so that might make a difference.

This is good news though, it means the PR team is serious about getting the Kiowa in game. Hopefully they will replace the Little bird with it.

Says mec_ahe_sa341h, I don't see a official H variant of the Gazelle. Crash is due to the lack of ai files.

Both choppers are not finished and will probably cause you to CTD if you use them.

Probably? They are missing textures, they will make you crash! (from the game, not cos you can't see the HUD ).
