Hey!

I was wondering which I should get?

• PR: Vietnam
• PR: Standard

The last time I played Project Reality was 0.85 so excuse my ill-knowledge. But I wondered which is better. I am a big fan of BfV and consider myself a master pilot there but I also love modern combat so if someone could tell me which is the better of the two.

PR vietnam hasnt been released yet and when it will its going to be a standalone mod IIRC?

Get Both?




it not like you have to pay for anything and I think both projects will co-exist as one mod

There's only 1 version of PR out, you have no choice.

Seeing as you know how to submit a thread, try reading some others.

I´d say the aircraft handling in Bfv cannot really be compared to the one in PR or the one I expect in PRV (which I guess will be similiar)

I also love Bfv and will get it as soon as it comes out. But you should probably play PR for practise so that you will be used to the handeling.

i've heard the PR:BF2 and PR:V will be realesed together but i havn't been keeping up with the news

kill, PR:BF2 is already out, and hopefully you have been playing it for quite some time.

Anyway, as the others have said, the only version of PR currently downloadable on this site is PR:BF2 0.9. PR:Vietnam is not yet released, and you can't get an unreleased version of the mod unless you're a beta tester or sth

What he meant is Project reality 2. It is under development, but it wont be released any time soon. My guess is it will take years..

yeaaa vietnam hasnt even been worked on to the extent taht the recent PR has ... It would probly be the same Basic engine of PR physics but with Vietnam era Vehicles models and weapons + MAPS cant wait ahah..

Just to clarify the abbreviations:

• BF2, BF2 Nilla, BF2 Vanilla = Battlefield 2 (unmodified) released
• PR, PR:BF2, BF2 R = Project Reality (Battlefield 2 modification) released
• PR:Vietnam, PRV = Project Reality Vietnam (Battlefield 2 modification about the Vietnam war) unreleased

• BFV, BFVietnam = Battlefield Vietnam (unmodified) released

• ArmA2, ArmAII = Armed Assault 2 (unmodified) released
• PR:ArmA2, PR:ArmAII, PR:A2 = Armed Assault 2 Project Reality (Armed Assault 2 modifikation in the style of PR) unreleased

• PR2 = Project Reality 2 (own game running on the C4 engine) unreleased

It's just ARMA 2, not Armed Assault 2.

Wrong, PR:V has been developed extensively, its uses alot/all of EoD mods assets.
