I set my crouch as C, and saved the settings, but it doesn't work. It still only lets me crouch when I hit control. Tried everything I could think of off hand, including deleting all the keys and starting over.

C is default for changing view I think, tried unbinding it first?

i must ask why you want C as crouch?

Why would you when Ctrl is right beside it?

Left little finger is all buggered up from all kinds of stuff and it doesn't react as fast as I'd like :/

dont feel bad....i use c as crouch but mine works just fine.....

C was always crouch for me, Ctrl for prone.

I would not know whats causing your problem.

You reset all the controls to default and still can't bind it ?
I have a similar keyboard and I also use C for crouch.
I erase the basic binds for Pause and Cycle camera ( P & C ) and then assign P to where C used to be ( for hmmv 50 and apache zoom) and the add C as a secondary for crouch.

Try reseting it to defaults and then trying to change the settings, I know why it is because you have 2 C's on your keyboard might be causing the issues.

Fixed it, just had to reset the defaults and go back. Weird.
