Graphic Issue

I'm having a weird graphics issue that i've never had before. I've made no changes to my system between when it wasn't happening and now.

When I load into a map, the ground of the map (grass, sand, dirt doesn't matter) looks like ice. It's an almost see through clear white, ice is the easiest way to explain in. This happens the all the maps I've loaded.

I've re-done video drives, and the game and patch. Still nothing. I've reinstalled BF2 all together and it's still messed up.

I'm running 6 gigs for DDR3, and 2 5770's in crossfire. This is all the same from before the error then all the sudden graphic glitch.

Ideas?

edit: All other BF2 mods run fine (AIX, Sandbox, BF2 itself).

thanks,
raw

If you still have trouble run battlefield cleaner to flush out your video cache files

Still no joy?

Trash your BF2 cache files
Path:
C:\Users\'your user name here'\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

Throw EVERYTHING inside the folder named cache away.
don't worry the files will be replaced with new ones when the game restarts.

Ok, so far so good. I ran the cleaner and checked my cache file but there was nothing in it (normal?).

Thanks for the cleaner, didn't even know such a thing existed, def going to bookmark it and share it with my buddies.
Thanks alot!

Edit: Now it's worse.
The other BF2 mods are doing the same thing now....

Could be over heating or a loose power line to a fan. Pop your case and give it a good cleaning with some canned air. Check fans/cables on video card. Leave case open and if you can put a big fan blowing air into it. Test with a few games. If problem's gone it was overheating. If you need to add a fan or two, modding your case with a new fan hole is easy.
( I put an extra fan right across from my video card to bring in cool air just for the card. Works great!)

Good luck
