Tried playing Archer 4 times on TG today. First, it CTD'd at "Verifying". Then it randomly CTD'd after I spawned for the second or third time. Then it PB kicked me for going into the menu, and then it CTD'd randomly while walking through the village.

Rarely had issues with this before; I run an 8800GTX (still :/), a E6750 at stock 2.67Ghz, and I have 2 gigs of 4-4-3-4 memory running at 800Mhz in dual channel mode. Maybe it's the map?

Trash your BF2 cache files
Path:
C:\Users\'your user name here'\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

Throw EVERYTHING inside the folder named cache away.
don't worry the files will be replaced with new ones when the game restarts.

Done, but I think I might have already fixed it. I uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers earlier and played on Chicago's Ins. server (on muttrah...) for a few hours unhindered.
