Don't know where else to put this really. I have just been on the NWA sever and found somebody spoofing my name. his name is virtually identical to mine except he is spelling it Joe_Pinaples_ABC, as opposed to my spelling, Joe_Pineapp1es_ABC,I now use a 1 for the l in pineapples and use 2 p's. i have screenshots of this guy and my name on the same score board.

My hope is that this is a sincere for of flattery, my fear is that this is some griefer looking to sully my name. if that is the case please be aware that its not me folks but some idiot spoofing my name.

This is the second account of this happening.
Player is under these account names griefing. Just be careful to kick/ban the right person.

Second? It is something that has happened a lot from time to time, admins just need to be on alert.

Wont do anything, as jigsaw said you need the players hash. Contact and NWA admin.

its very hard to explain to admin in the game you are the "good" guy

Joe, Contact NWA clan (The head admin would be best) provide your HASH key and the screen shot, he will get the other guys HASH and post it on the server admins forum for banning.

With a PSB account, wich I have, its easy finding out who he is. Lots of different nicks on that GUID. I wont put it here, since I dont know if this will violate forum rules.

He may just be another fan of the ABC warriors. Highly doubt he copied you.

CC-Marley do you really think this is just another comic book fan? i realise its a big world out there and many people like comics, but seriously given this guys ping, probably US not UK, and the close copying of the name is it more probable that he's a fan of an obscure UK comic book character or a griefer? i known which one my money is on

The hash is the encrypted version of your CD key.

Also I have had a run in recently with one of the more notorious griefers, we all know who they are so no names, Chindits-Guerilla was leading the squad so he might remember the occasion, but it might have sparked this.

Well, before you talk to any admin and stuff, prove you are not the one spoofing his name. I am not accusing you of anything (nor the other guy), and I've never seen you in-game (I don't play ThAT much). Therefore, remember to post the REASON why would someone copy your name, and in a very unnacurate way as that? If he wanted to get you kicked/banned, he failed.

Later, proof he is spoofing. You have any idea how many chuck norrises are in-game?

Just to update this, Joe you are indeed being spoofed, this guy was just banned from the UKWF server for mass tking in main and I know you're a good guy as I have played with you, so it would seem that you do indeed have a griefer/stalker.

I meant like second time that has happened within the week that this was posted, and the person would appear to be acting in the same manner (copying the name and doing things like crashing assets into teammates and then leaving so the admin bans the 'real' player).
