The marksman kits have been hugely improved. The sniper kit is still pretty much the same, except that from what I've noticed, bullet velocity has been decreased.

Sniper rifles take about half the time they used to for minimum deviation when compared to 0.85.
In other words, sniper rifles settle roughly twice as fast now IIRC.
The same pretty much goes for marksmen rifles with their new 'Deployed' option.

Marksmen are now able to move with a squad and fight effectively since they do not have to go prone in order to put down accurate fire. It really is an infantry kit now.

Nothing will ever beat .75 marksman though.

Amen to that! M14 dominated... nothing could touch you if you had that gun in your hands.

Sniper rifles feel a lot more accurate compared to before.

Obviously, I was just firing and not doing what I normally do, which is recon, but this is basically what the sniper is right now.

You still get a lot of people who dont know how to use a Sniperkit, but if you have a good SniperSQ they now often consist of an Officer and a Sniper since the Officer can set markers on the Map.
Also Lonewolf Snipers are more likely to die since the pistol seems to be less effective compared to the new assault rifle deveations.
Bulletdrop starts around 400meters and if you know how much bulletdrop there is you can hit targets up to 800 meters with accuracy. Compared to the maximum view distance that means you can hit everything if you know how to use that kit. Also all Sniperrifles are now completely accurate making the Taliban Sniper one of the most important asset on some maps.

We tested it as soon as the last update came out up to 350 meters u will be fine aiming at the forehead but at 400 meters you should aim just above the head
We made a list of how high you have to aim and posted it a while back, but we didnt bother to go further than 800 meters because its already pretty hard to get it right at that distance.
