A few suggestions

All that comes to my head is jungles, bamboos, long grass and possibly rain.
And a gameplay suggestion- like an objective styled game(i think it may be possible) like in the BHD e.g they had a mission to arrest the people and not to kill them or put an american flag on the roof-top , "Killing is only one aspect of the battlefield", also project REALITY in the army its not about putting a flag on your enemy's base or house.
Also i thought of basing the maps on real scenarios(like in FH2/bf1942) and putting some history into it (like 1978,dec15. the fight lasted 10 days etc.)
I would really like to see real scenarios in PR (the only thing missing(though Ramiel map is like the BHD but...))
All I got for now, I might come up with some more things.
I really want you to think about this.

Surely it's a great idea. I personally think that PR maps could have a wider range of game types, I've only seen Attack and Defend (it's Capture mod, all in all, it is), Insurgency (destroy caches) and few more. The hostages situations is really good, but also Singleplayer mode-like or Objective-like games would be quite cool. For example, in Ramiel, instead of having Insurgency mod, we could have Hostage extraction situations and the US Army job would be to leave that place with the hostages while the Insurgents were setting up many traps for when the Americans passed by would be ambushed. That would create a quite realistic warfare, since nowadays there's basicly no attack/defend, capture warfare, just IED/RPG owned convoys
In Vietnam, the jungle is another perfect scenery for ambushes.
The history makes the game funnier and playable, aswell it adds the teamwork. What would be a D-Day online? Some fun for the Nazis, some serious hard work for the Allies corps getting their asses pwned

thx for the reply... at least someone
would be great if the DEV thought about this because there really is no attack/defend stuff- more like missions, strategy, etc. now(unless they are doing bf2/WWII or something like that)

I think that would improve the gameplay probably teamwork and it would riese the reality meter, also make an even better mod.

the flags should represent strategic positions of some sort
..and i'm pretty sure there'll be jungles pr:v

would you please stop shamelessly bumping your own thread?
If you'd used the search button you'd probably know the DEVs are working on a Scenario gamemode

SupaDupaMan, use the edit button instead of posting new posts, keep threads neat so they can be read easily.
People post in threads that they have opinions on. The DEVs etc do cruise through these threads, if there is merit in it then the DEVs will take it on. Don't expect an immediate pat on the back for a suggestion.
For myself, I found your suggestion to be partly stuff that has been discussed before as part of the scenario mode discussions and partly to be very broadly speaking. "I would really like to see real scenarios in PR" I'm willing to bet that mappers are working on such things, though I don't know.

If people like/support your idea then they will express their feeling believe me, if not, well then they either don't post or give negative feedback.

sure, killing is only one aspect of the battlefield, but in Vietnam, it was THE aspect of the battlefield. attrition of the insurgent forces was seen as the means to calculate and secure victory. PR:V will be just fine with AAS and insurgency modes.
