How did I see it somewhere in this forum a thread that says it is compatible with some vehicles of PR, and ok if it isnt with PR how to do it with BF2?

Oh and look what I found on this video's description on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEnD0jitcII

Description:
**PREVIEW** of FreeTrack 6DOF head tracking in Battlefield 2 v1.41 online in ranked PunkBuster enabled servers.

Works in the following vehicle positions for vanilla BF2:
Transport vehicle driver.
Helicopter pilot.
Aircraft pilot.
Bomber copilot.

Also works with majority of vehicles in Project Reality and should work for most vehicles in other BF2 mods as well.

BF2FreeLook is a spin-off stand-alone application that provides pan and snap view control as well as dedicated mouse look (if mouse not mapped to vehicle control), bringing view control up to the same level as combat flight simulators.

Hardware used:
Nintendo Wii Remote
3 point clip

you may be thinking of the Track IR thread. but i have a better question

Why?

if your turning your head, your no longer looking at your computer screen. if you turn the sensitivity, the first time you sneeze you'll be looking upside down at the people in the back of the vehical.

i stand corrected. i thought the sensors worked in relation to each other, and not another sensor mounted to the computer screen. but seeing as im not a pilot, i would have little use for one. im not saying its not cool, im just saying im not going to run out and buy one.

It may be compatible with single-player BF2, but the following is a comment by Mosquill under this youtube video:

Mosquill wrote:BF2 does not support TrackIR. PR may support TrackIR in the future, but currently you can't use TrackIR with PR.
I mean hey, if you have verified info that I don't, then feel free to share. But as far as TrackIR/Freetrack, as I understand it they are not compatible with multi-player PR.

It works because he wrote a third party program to hack bf2.

hack is such an ugly word. how about add-on or expansion?

but didnt that video just say it was punkbuster compatable? from my understanding of PB, it only looks for certain files. i.e. if you wrote your own aimbot code that didnt match with any bot codes that PB knows, it wouldnt care. if PB looked for every little piece of code that didnt come with vBF2, it would freak whenever we tried to play PR.
