i realized that it is very dangerous for soldiers to run around with their weapons loaded.

In order to safe more precious lives and create more lols during combat we should add safety mode to weapons =D

it's an idea from AA3,I'm thinking it will be more realistic...lol

It's a good idea but it's been suggested before (at least 4 times) and shot down because it can't be done in BF2. I advise that you do a search before you suggest things in future.

Has already been suggested. I'd personally actually like it, but since gameplay > realism, and this mode has no real use if people can perform left-mouse-button-safety, and confuses people if they quickly need to switch fire modes, I doubt it'll be included.

haha amen our safety catch is not pressing to hard with our trigger finger

^^^ True...although sometimes my damn mouse hits up against the keyboard and a few shots ring off. lol. It's a rare occurrence, but it does happen. I've made it a habit to NEVER point my barrel at a friendly, especially in CQC. It alsoo helps that I'm always a medic...
